An outstanding opportunity has become available at one of Australia’s leading courses. The Victoria Golf Club, co-host of the 2024 Australian Open and one of the premier clubs on Melbourne’s famed Sandbelt is looking to employ a suitably qualified Turf Tradesperson to assist in the day-to-day course maintenance and future development of the course.

The person we are seeking will have completed Certificate 3 in Turf Management and possess a sound knowledge of all aspects of course maintenance and construction methods, WH&S and Environmental Procedures and display attributes of a team leader.

Applicants must have a keen interest in fine turf management and be proficient in the safe use of turf chemicals and machinery. The successful applicant will possess excellent planning and communication skills, be able to work unsupervised and have a keen eye for detail.

This position will be full-time with some work required weekends, public holidays and in all weather conditions.

Meals, onsite parking and a commitment to your ongoing education will be provided. The club is about to build a new state of the art new maintenance facility including a fully appointed staff amenity building.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated person who can work in a team environment.
