The Role

As the Corporate & Community Events Coordinator, you will report to the onsite Business Development Manager, and hit the ground running, facilitating and providing exceptional service to current bookings whilst rapidly building rapport and securing future business.

You will be happy to roll up your sleeves and throw yourself into whatever comes your way, with accountability for;

  • Corporate Sales
  • Event delivery and customer service
  • Partnerships and Sponsorships
  • Community Programs Development & Management
  • Sales Administration and management of CRM systems

You will: 

  • Act as the client liaison for all corporate events from commencement to completion
  • Provide excellent customer service to the corporate event organisers, clients & participants
  • Expand existing MPG corporate golf and junior golf programs
  • Follow up & generate sales leads, preparing correspondence, proposals and handling enquiries
  • Source new community partnership, sponsorship and event opportunities as well as manage our existing partnerships

About you

  • You are on your up in a sales / business development role with 2+ years experience
  • Your results speak for themselves – you have met and exceeded sales targets and KPI’s
  • You have experience working within the sport, hospitality and/or entertainment industries.
  • CRM systems are your friend, and you are great at managing them and keeping them current
  • In your past you have delivered a stack of corporate events and/or programs
  • You bring energy and possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • And the boring bit – you hold a Current National Police check and Working with Children check
