As the club continues to evolve, we are seeking a Casual Finance & Administration Assistant to provide crucial support to both the Finance & Administration Manager and General Manager. This role will play a key part in ensuring smooth financial operations, administrative efficiency, and effective meeting coordination.
About the Role:
This part time position (3 days per week, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) is ideal for a detail-oriented professional seeking a role that balances financial administration, meeting coordination, and general support functions.
The successful candidate will assist with invoicing, payroll, financial reconciliations, board pack preparation, and administrative coordination, ensuring key processes run smoothly. This role operates within a collaborative, open-plan office environment, and as a member-centric business, professionalism and discretion are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Finance & Administration Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting financial operations, administrative functions, and governance processes.
This includes:
- Financial Administration: Assist with invoicing, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.
- Meeting & Board Support: Prepare agendas, board packs, and record minutes for key meetings.
- Administrative Assistance: Provide direct support to the General Manager and Finance & Administration Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Software & System Management: Work within SwiftPOS, MiClub, MYOB Wageloch and other golf club-specific software (Training Provided)
- General Office Support: Assist with internal communications, reporting, and various administrative duties as required.
About You:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven individual with:
- Experience in finance, administration, or accounts support (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with SwiftPOS, MiClub, or similar industry-specific software (beneficial but not essential – training provided).
- A high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- The ability to work independently and efficiently within a structured environment.
