MiClub is an Australian-based company employing over 50 staff with offices located in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. We are specialist developers in golf and club management software servicing over 900 clubs and courses in Australia, New Zealand, UK and Singapore. Thousands of golfers use our products every day!

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to manage the commercial operations of our growing business. This is a broad role covering all commercial areas of the business. Reporting to the CEO you will be part of the leadership team helping to drive the business forward.

The MiClub work culture is friendly and fast-paced with regular group activities including our own social golf club, lunches, birthday celebrations and special events. This role is a great opportunity to join a small busy team within a market-leading company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of accounts payable/ receivable
  • Supervision of payroll process
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly financial data
  • Preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Preparation of reports for the leadership team
  • Prepare and process monthly BAS and payroll tax lodgements
  • Year-end reporting and procedures including liaison with tax consultants
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Provide advice on contractual arrangements and liaise with legal advisors
  • Manage the company business planning and reporting process
  • Support the leadership team in managing operational aspects of the business
  • Assistance with admin and HR duties that arise within the business

Qualifications and experience:

  • Proven experience in financial management
  • Experience in contract management
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong systems and Excel experience and an eye for process improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to lead and coach a team
