Golf Club Pro Shop Staff – Royal Hobart Golf Club
Royal Hobart Golf Club is looking for a dedicated and hard-working individual that has a passion for golf.
Reporting to the Head Professional, the successful applicant will have a passion for the game, be the friendly face that greets our members and visitors as they arrive at the Pro Shop, assisting with their golfing need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide information about the golf course, tee times, and club facilities.
- Handle equipment sales, rentals, and reservations.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked Pro Shop.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in merchandising and promoting golf-related products.
- Help coordinate golf events and tournaments.
Qualifications:
- Passion for golf and a good understanding of the game
- Work as a team on a rotating roster and weekends
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus
- POS and cash handling skills
- Able to work independently and follow directions.
