Royal Hobart Golf Club is looking for a dedicated and hard-working individual that has a passion for golf.

Reporting to the Head Professional, the successful applicant will have a passion for the game, be the friendly face that greets our members and visitors as they arrive at the Pro Shop, assisting with their golfing need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide information about the golf course, tee times, and club facilities.
• Handle equipment sales, rentals, and reservations.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked Pro Shop.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in merchandising and promoting golf-related products.
• Help coordinate golf events and tournaments.

Qualifications:

• Passion for golf and a good understanding of the game
• Work as a team on a rotating roster and weekends
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer skills
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus
• POS and cash handling skills
• Able to work independently and follow directions.
