Golf Central is Brisbane’s premier golf and entertainment venue located at the entry to Brisbane Airport. With Brisbane’s first Toptracer driving range, 18 hole mini golf course and function facilities overlooking our stunning golf landscape we aim to provide an exciting and unique experience for all of our guests. We’re conveniently located within the Skygate precinct next to DFO Brisbane. To cater for our growing business, we are seeking a passionate Assistant Golf Manager.

This position requires an individual who is capable of leading and motivating a small team. The successful applicant will possess a passion for delivering consistently high levels of customer service and work well under pressure. A strong background in golf retail sales, customer service and experience in a member environment is highly desirable.

Job tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing assistance to the Golf Manager to steer the operation of the retail, range, mini golf, memberships 
  • Assisting with custom orders, emails and invoicing
  • Driving retail sales through the retail shop front 
  • Managing our supplier fitting days

To be successful you will:

  • Be an experienced supervisor and capable of leading a team
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Be professional and reliable
  • Have experience in the golf industry
  • Be highly motivated
  • Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts across a 7day roster, primarily Wednesday – Sunday covering afternoon and evening shifts
  • Have a high standard of presentation and exceptional communication skills
  • Be computer (Microsoft Office) and POS literate
