Melville Glades, a premier golf destination, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Golf Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our exceptional golfing experience. This is a key leadership role for an individual with a deep understanding of golf operations and a commitment to delivering unparalleled member satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Competition & Event Management: Plan, execute, and manage all golf competitions and events, ensuring seamless operations and a positive experience for all participants.
Timesheet & Booking Management: Maintain efficient timesheet and booking systems, optimizing course utilization and member access.
Handicap Administration: Oversee handicap management through platforms like MiClub and Golflink, ensuring accuracy and compliance with governing regulations.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze booking trends and member data to identify opportunities for improvement and provide insightful reports to management.
Communication & Member Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for members, providing timely and informative communication regarding events, policies, and general club updates.
Team Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate effectively with the General Manager and other team members to achieve strategic goals and foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

Golf Expertise: A comprehensive understanding of golf rules, etiquette, and tournament formats is essential.
Organizational & Planning Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Communication & Interpersonal Excellence: Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members and staff.
Technology Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific applications.
Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Member Magic and MiClub systems.
Previous experience in a private golf club or public golf course setting.
