The National is a world class, private golf club, providing unique member experiences on four golf courses across two sites at Cape Schanck and Long Island.

The Role
The National Golf Club is looking to engage a part-time Maintenance Officer to join our friendly and dedicated team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct routine inspections, ensuring building systems and assets are in working order, identifying any maintenance or repair needs
- Carry out preventative and general maintenance tasks including patch and paint, fixing leaking taps, troubleshooting, and preventative checks
- Respond to maintenance requests, determine responsibility for works, estimate costs and specify the work required
- Respond to maintenance requests identified though Occupational Health and Safety reviews
- Ensure plant and equipment are serviced regularly according to relevant standards and records are accurately logged.
- Be the primary liaison with various stakeholders including contractors to ensure the Club meets strategic goals and legislative requirements
About You
The successful candidate will have the following skills and background:
- Previous experience in facility maintenance or similar role
- Solid understanding of maintenance procedures
- Basic computer skills, in particular Microsoft suite including Outlook
- Drivers licence
- Full working rights in Australia
The successful applicant will have excellent organisational skills, display initiative, and act with professionalism at all times.
The following would be considered desirable skills for the successful candidate to possess:
- Contract Management experience
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher
- First Aid qualifications
- Hold current tickets, qualifications including White Card, Working at Heights, and Confined Spaces
- Understanding of Building Essential safety measures and reporting
- Trade qualifications in construction, electrical, or plumbing are highly regarded
- Ability to diagnose and foresee potential issues and risks
