The Role
We are a qualified Chef / Cook to join our Kitchen team at Terrey Hills and produce exceptional food to our customers across the venue. Reporting to the onsite Kitchen Manager / Head Chef, the qualified Chefs / Cooks will deliver the venues daily food production, stock management, food safety and kitchen hand employee supervision. The role demands a knowledge of food production, service, stock ordering, food safety, management of kitchen equipment and kitchen cleaning. The ideal applicants will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen food production in a quick service environment.
- Collaborate with Kitchen Manager to make food menu and service improvements.
- Train, mentor and supervise Kitchen Hands and service team employees.
- Compliance with Food Safety regulations.
- Management of brand new kitchen assets and environment.
- Play a leadership role to achieve high quality customer experiences.

Qualifications:
- Holds recognised trade qualifications in cookery (qualified Chef or Cook).
- Prior experience in kitchen operations is essential.
- Holds current certifications in Food Safety Supervisor, Food Handling and First Aid.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends on four rotating roster.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
