We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Greenkeeper to join our team at the prestigious Tanunda Pines Golf Club in beautiful Adelaide!

About Tanunda Pines Golf Club:

Tanunda Pines Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in the Northern region, located adjacent to the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort in the heart of the Barossa Valley, just one hour’s drive from Adelaide.

About the Role:

As a Greenkeeper at Tanunda Pines, you will play a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course. Your responsibilities will include:

• Mowing greens, fairways, and tees.
• Maintaining bunkers and other turf/landscape areas on the golf course and grounds.
• Irrigating and fertilizing the course and the landscape.
• Assist the superintendent with pest, weed and disease management.
• Assist the superintendent with water management.
• Operating and maintaining all types of small and large machinery involved with maintaining a golf course.
• Operating and maintaining handheld machinery such as brush cutters, edgers, blowers, chainsaws and etc.
• Assist the superintendent and work with the team for all general maintenance and manual labour involved with producing a high-standard golf course.
• Set up the course for daily play, tournaments, and events by changing holes, raking bunkers, and more.
• Contributing to course improvement projects
  Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent/Management.

About You:

We are looking for a motivated individual with:

• A passion for golf course maintenance.
• Experience in greenkeeping or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of turf management practices.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment.
• Strong work ethic and readiness to work in a physically demanding role.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Good time management skills, attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised.
• A relevant qualification in horticulture or turf management (advantageous).
