The Lakes Golf Club is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Third in Charge to the Course Superintendent. This role will involve assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Club’s Course department.

About: The Lakes Golf Club:

The Lakes Golf Club is renowned as one of Australia’s premier private golf clubs, having hosted eight Australian Opens. Our team consists of 60 dedicated and professional staff members who are committed to providing exceptional service to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily management of the course maintenance program
• Help supervise a team of 20 staff members
• Implement strategies and plans as directed by the Course Superintendent
• Focus on delivering a world-class golfing experience to our members

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
• Comprehensive knowledge of turf management, horticulture, machinery, and irrigation
• Understanding of the game of golf
• Formal qualifications with a minimum of Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
• Strong knowledge of chemicals (AQF 3)
• Familiarity with E-par management system, WH&S policies, and procedures
